Import Contacts from Microsoft Outlook to Your Phone via Gmail
Importing or transferring your contacts into your phone is simple. You export the contacts from Outlook into a csv file, and then import them into Gmail. Once the contacts are loaded into Gmail, you simply have to synchronize Gmail with your phone. Follow these steps to Sync your Outlook Contacts with your Android phone.
Import Contacts from Microsoft Outlook to Your Phone via Gmail
1. In Microsoft Outlook, go to the contacts field.
2. From the File menu, select Import and Export.
3. Select Export to a file and click Next.
4. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows) and click Next.
5. Select Contacts and click Next.
6. Select Replace duplicates with items exported.
7. Click Browse.
8. Click Desktop and create a name for the file.
9. Click OK.
10. Click Finish.
11. From your computer, go to www.gmail.com
12. Log into your Gmail account.
13. Click Contacts.
14. Click Import.
15. Locate and import your .csv file that you saved to your Desktop.
Your contacts will load.
