To setup / Configure Outlook 2007 email application client with gmail [Google mail] is simple. Simply follow the steps below to synchronize Outlook 2007 with Google mail.

1. Open Outlook 2007 [ avoid Up gradation on new setups ]

2. Fill in Display name, your full Email address ie. including the domain name.

3. Check On Manually configure Server settings Check box.

4. Select the Internet Email Settings.

5.  Fill In user info. your Name and Full email address.

Account type  – imap
Incoming mail server   – imap.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server   – smtp.gmail.com

6. Enter your username  & password and Click on Next.

7. Go to Menu->Tools->Options->Mail setup->Click on Email Accounts

8. Select an account->Change->More settings->Advanced tab

9. Change iMap to 993 [use SSL Encryption in drop down menu] and SMTP to 587 [use TLS encryption]

10. Click on the Outgoing server Tab and select My SMTP requires authentication check box also select use same settings as my Incoming mail server radio button.

11. Click Ok->Next->Finish and Close

Its Done! Outlook 2007 must sychronize properly wit gmail now. Check for any errors if not Happening. Follow the steps again if any error occurs.
